If we use ISD technology we can make calls to any country but the price will be very high. Mobile calls are also expensive way to make international calls but their advantage is the comfort of making calls without any wire. Telecoms have developed an idea of global SIM, which doesn’t apply additional roaming charges on your calls and has lower international call charges.

Voice over internet protocol gives the chance to a person to make calls trough landline phone or PC to another landlines, PCs or mobiles. Using VoIP you can make international calls to China. The voice quality is similar to the traditional phone calls but the charges are very low. VoIP gives additional features that are not available in ordinary phones. A number of companies introduced VoIP telephones for business corporations that have the ability to record calls.

What is the whole international calling Card thing?

If you use international calling card you can reduce your international calling taxes. International calling card is a tool to make cheap international calls from one destination to another. This card provides you an access code and PIN number. When you enter the code and the pin number when dialling an international number the call taxes are lower. There are three types of codes: Free Access code: It begins with 0800; Local Access code: It begins with 0845; National Access code: It begins with 0208;

If you attempt cheap international calls trough National access codes you will be charged from your mobile provider until you connect to the number you are calling to.
